WOMAN; treasure of our land.

hi there, i just want to share this post to ALL WOMEN, this is in connection with the WOMEN'S MONTH CELEBRATION. :D This year's theme is "BABAE YAMAN KA NG BAYAN".
when did it begin?? click this for information. As for our local events view THIS. I remember during college days, we were assigned by our Guidance Counselors to greet all our female teachers and employees and put a violet ribbon on their left chest to symbolize the celebration. hays, those were the days.
"what is the essence of a woman?", maybe and old question but as always very nice to answer. For me, what makes a woman a WOMAN, is her capability to bare a child for 9 months in her womb, and that doesn't stop there, but it is where it began. Being a woman take a lot of responsibility, really lots of.. :D
so... to all women!!!! Happy Women's month. :D
we are indeed treasures of our land, i just hope that as treasures, we won't be abused and sold, but be respected and taken care of, delicately held and loved. :D
