Man's Best Friend...

hello.
It seems that i am taking my being a journalist seriously... LOL
just this morning "we" (team gma, which includes me and my 2 uncles) hehe went to take footages of a dog show in a barangay here in Kidapawan City. It was my first time "as in" first time, to witness such event.. i have seen some on television though but being really there is another experience. I was also expecting for different categories like showcasing of talents such as answering a mathematical problem or so... instead, i witnessed a different kind of competition, a more physical one... "weight pulling"
there were 6 competitors all of the same breed (pitt-bull, they may not be very good looking dogs but surely very strong, imagine they pulled sacks of sands 30, 40 and 50 times heavier than their weight. whew!!!! here are some photos i took...




after the exhibition, the dog trainer/owner would give his dog a sweet pat on the head simply letting the canine know it has done a good job. :)

here, Diesel is pulling 1500 kls of sand 50 times heavier than him. this dog is strong... stronger than this author.. TOINKS!! Dogs are not just man's best friend but also entertainers isn't it??
