my simple tribute

hello.
our country is still mourning for the death of a former leader, a child, a sister, a mother.. President Corazon Cojuanco - Aquino. (january 25, 1933 - august 1, 2009)
I knew her since the time i started going to school. She was the president that time (1991) i saw her on tv, pictures and on our textbooks. She was a strong woman. of all the suffering she had undergone,(being the wife of a senator, becoming a widow, to the time she fought cancer) she still depicted a picture of a humble strong woman.
my picture of her is so simple.... "AN IMAGE OF A PERFECT MOTHER" she was a housewife who was blessed to have 5 children, she reared all of them lovingly, especially when her husband was put to jail, she was both MOM and DAD and i guess she has done it so well, for her children did grow up imperfectly nice. ;D pardon me but kris admitted she is the classic picture of a prodigal daughter. maybe because she was so loved by her mom that "tita cory" did not want kris to suffer more. In general, our tita cory was a mom not only to her children but to the Filipino people. she stood for her children as she stood for us Filipinos. she was indeed a mother to us all. she may had her not so nice qualities but she was a good person.
i would like to consider her one of the mediator i could ask help from, as she continue to pray for me/us, may she not forget the Filipino people who believed in her.
in return let us continue her fight to democracy. let us be wise in choosing the right people to lead us come 2010 elections. may her soul enlighten us to vote for the soon leader of our country. may she be an inspiration for the future leader.
