Ready set..... Go!

officially, my two-month paid rest has ended about 2 weeks ago, and I am now to start my war, (against jejemons. haha) as the new school year is about to start just 2 days from now.
I really had a roller coaster summer this year.. well, it was His move not mine. He has greater plans for me, i am sure.
One thing i have learned out of that "storm" is simple... you cannot trust a stranger!
and that's just it!
Tuesday.... is my 5th baptism of fire. hehe i am now 5 years in service, i have been under 4 bosses (one of them was my grandfather. :D), i have experienced loosing co-teachers, (some retired from service, while some died of illness) i have encountered good friends, and... not so good ones. haha. In every organization we cannot just be "friends" to all i guess, over used, but it is TRUE, "you cannot please everybody." besides, i am not to please them.. i am done impressing people; that was when i applied for the job. my goal now is to please my pupils, giving them the quality education they deserve. Though i am no longer a class adviser, my being a subject teacher gives me the opportunity to reach out to the younger generation and extend to them the learning i got from my teachers. I would like to quote one favorite college professor when she said "teachers, even if they are inside the classroom and just sit and do nothing, they will still get their salary." it is just like, we are paid for the time spent at school and not the way we teach. its kinda negative but... yeah. I have witnessed how some do "that" lol. (this is my blog, let me tell any thing i feel like posting) ;)
i am not a perfect teacher, but every time i feel like lazy of facing my more or less 50 pupils, i really get guilty, and the one thing that comes to my mind is a scene during our OATH TAKING.. i pledged to teach and educate elementary pupils not to waste my time and enjoy the salary our government gives me.:D
Yup, i will soon be very busy. i might not be able to post on weekdays anymore, but i do hope it will not come to the point of neglecting this blog like what happen to my other blog. :D

anyway.. Here's to S.Y 2010 - 2011. God bless our Philippines, which by the way just celebrated its 112th Independence day. the same reason why our first school day was moved to June 15.. June 14 was announced as non working holiday in lieu of June 12's celebration of I.D Day.
so..... READY SET..............GO!!

that's all.
